Sunday evening I was surprised by all of the ladies in my family with a lingerie party. We had some great laughs and enjoyed the oober tastey lunch of panini's, fruit salad, chips and punch. I was so excited while opening the beautiful undergarments and nicely smelling lotions and bath soaps. Then my Aunt Dawn had a game for us to play...she gave us each a sheet of paper and she passed around tropical scents of Hawaii and we were supposed to write down what scent we thought it was. I didn't do well at all, only guessing one correctly; however, my sister always seems to win the games at showers and she got 3 right. Stinker! Then, creative as she always is, Aunt Dawn had a silly story where "I was in Hawaii and the electricity went out. In my beach bag I had to choose what to wear that day." While I was blindfolded, she held out in front of me two or three selections, and each time I had to choose which necklace, scarf, headband, skirt and bracelet I think I would have worn without being able to see anything. Woo boy was I a site for sore eyes! I don't think I will ever be able to dress myself in the dark! The night ended with delicious cupcakes from Gigi's Cupcakes of Midland, mmmmmmm mmmmmm! My favorite is definitely wedding cake! The girls in my family worked so hard to plan this incredible weekend, and an incredible weekend it was. I love them so much! :)
